Celebrex Coupons
From Pharmacy Drug Guide
Celebrex, or celecoxib, is an anti-inflammatory medication manufactured by Pfizer that treats osteoarthritis pain, rheumatoid arthritis pain, and other forms of acute pain.[1] It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, or NSAID, and works by stopping the production of enzymes that cause pain and inflammation.[2] [3] Using Celebrex coupons, manufacturer's rebates, Celebrex printable coupon offers and discount drug assistance programs for Celebrex can help reduce the cost of Celebrex prescriptions. Third-party health discount plans like those offered by CVS and Rite Aid can also reduce the cost of prescription drugs.

About Celebrex
Celebrex is the trade name for the generic drug celecoxib and is in the class of NSAID, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs called COX-2 inhibitors.[6] Celebrex (celecoxib) pain and inflammation medications are available by prescription only. These NSAID medications may be prescribed to treat and relieve pain, swelling and stiffness from rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Celecoxib may also be prescribed to treat painful menstrual periods. Celecoxib works to stop the production of certain hormones in the body that cause pain and inflammation.[2][7] Common drug side effects include diarrhea, heartburn, constipation, dizziness, nausea, gas, upset stomach, stuffy nose and sore throat. [8] Patients with cardiovascular disease are at increased risk of heart attack and stroke when taking Celebrex.[8] Gastrointestinal effects such as bleeding ulcers and perforated stomach or intestines are seen with Celebrex, and they may occur without any advanced warning signs. The elderly are at a greater risk of GI effects from Celebrex.[8]
