Celebrex Information
Celebrex is an non-steroidal anti-inflammatory primarily used to treat different types of arthritis. Other, less common, conditions treated with Celebrex include menstrual cramps and polyps. Celebrex users may experience side effects such as:[1]

- Headaches
- Nervousness
- Cold-like symptoms
Patients who experience more serious side effects are instructed to discontinue use and seek medical treatment. These include exhaustion, weight gain, changes in urine color and swelling.

Pfizer Helpful Answers offers several patient assistance programs to assist eligible Celebrex. These programs provide free or discounted medicine to uninsured or under-insured patients for up to a year. Applications for these programs are available for download through the official Pfizer Helpful Answers website, or by calling 800-706-2400.[3] Listed below are the programs available for Celebrex and the eligibility requirements.
- Connection to Care offers Celebrex patients free medicine through their doctor's office, good for up to a year. To be eligible, patients must live in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands, not have prescription coverage (or must qualify for a hardship exception), and must meet annual income guidelines.[4]
- MAINTAIN offers free Celebrex medication for unemployed individuals for up to a year. To qualify, patients must live in the United States, have become unemployed after January 1, 2009, have no prescription coverage, and have been on Celebrex for at least 90 days before the job loss.[5]
- Pfizer Friends helps Celebrex patients save on their medication at the pharmacy. To be eligible, patients must have no prescription coverage and live in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.[6]
- Sharing the Care offers free Celebrex at select community health centers. To be eligible, patients must be registered with a participating Sharing the Care center, have no prescription drug coverage, meet the household income requirements, and live in the U.S. Not all health centers will offer Celebrex.[7]
- Pfizer Hospital Partnership Program offers free Celebrex at participating hospitals. Eligible patients must have no prescription drug coverage, meet the household income requirements, live in the United States, and be a registered outpatient of the hospital/hospital system.[8]
