About Migraines

Migraine headaches are common in the United States, with about 30 million people suffering from them. More than 50 percent of these sufferers are undiagnosed. Symptoms include an intense headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and noise, and throbbing sensations. It is unclear exactly what causes migraines, but genetics are thought to play a role. Severe migraines can prevent sufferers from participating in everyday activities.[9]
