About Humira
Classified as a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor, Humira blocks a substance in the body common to autoimmune disorders that causes TNF inflammation. This type of inflammation is caused by conditions like rheumatoid arthritis (pain, swelling and loss of joint function), ankylosing spondylitis (spine area and other parts of the body, joint pain and damage), psoriatic arthritis (pain, swelling and scales on skin) and Crohn’s disease, in which the body attacks the digestive tract lining causing pain, diarrhea, weight loss and fever.[1]

Patients with federal or state-funded programs like Medicare or Medicaid, as well as residents of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, are not eligible for the co-payment assistance program.[2]
