Intuniv is a non-stimulant treatment therapy for ADHD that is typically prescribed for short periods of time, i.e., less than nine weeks. Intuniv is not a controlled substance, unlike other ADHD treatments like Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanse, and others. intuniv is believed to have less risk for dependency or abuse issues.
