From Pharmacy Drug Guide
Lamisil, LamisilAT, and LamisalAF are brands of terbinafine, an anti-fungal medication for treating infections of the fingernails and toenails, as well as athlete's foot, ringworm, jock itch, and other ailments. Lamisil works by suppressing the growth of invasive fungi. Lamisil is available for oral use by prescription, and in over-the-counter or OTC forms as a cream, spray, or gel.[1]
Lamisil coupons can save patients money on their next Lamisil purchase. Printable coupons for OTC Lamisil can be found through the official Lamisil website. Coupons and discounts for Lamisil may also be found through third party coupon websites, or in the form of free samples from a patient's doctor or healthcare provider.[2] Patient assistance programs can help patients afford prescription Lamisil.

Lamisil Coupons and Free Samples
- Printable coupons for LamisilAT and LamisilAF can sometimes be found on the official Lamisil website. Consumers can access dollars-off discounts on select products by selecting the Offers icon in the top right corner of the main page. In order to print the coupons, consumers will need to download the free coupon printer as directed. Past savings offers have been good for $2 off of any Lamisil product, although there are not always deals available.[2]
- Patients who have been prescribed oral Lamisil have a couple of different savings options:[5]
- Those who qualify can get free Lamisil from the Novartis patient assistance program. The program is open to those who do not have any prescription drug coverage and meet income guidelines. Applications can be downloaded from the program website, or patients can have them mailed by calling 800-277-2254. There are sections for doctors and patients to complete.
- Xubex Pharmaceuticals sells prescription Lamisil at a discount through the Xubex Patient Assistance Program. Unlike the Novartis program, patients may be insured and earn any income. There is an application, but the doctor does not need to be involved in the process (although a prescription is required). Interested patients can call 866-699-8239 or download the application online. Search using the chemical name terbinafine rather than the brand name.[6]
About Lamasil
Lamisil is available over-the-counter in cream, gel, and spray form as LamisilAT, and in shake powder form as LamisalAF. Each of these over-the-counter products treats common fungal infections such as ringworm, athelte's foot, and jock itch.[3] Prescription Lamasil is available as an oral tablet, and is usually administered for six weeks for fungal infections of the fingernail, and for 12 weeks for fungal infections of the toenail. Patients with kidney or liver disease, or autoimmune disorders like psoriasis or lupus, may not be able to use Lamisil safely.[1]
