Some of the signs are swelling of the face, mouth, lips, gums, tongue, throat or neck, trouble breathing, rash, hives or blisters.[2]

Lyrica Precautions and Warnings

  • There is a low possibility that patients treated with Lyrica may grow depressed or develop suicidal thoughts. • Animal studies showed that the babies of Lyrica users (male or female) were at higher risk of being born infertile. While it is not clear if the same birth defects are caused in humans, all Lyrica users are advised to discuss any pregnancy, plans of pregnancy, or plans of fatherhood with their doctors.[1]
  • Lyrica users may not be able to drive or operate heavy machinery safely, and are advised to avoid such activities until they are sure that they will not be too drowsy or dizzy to do so.[2]
