Norvasc Coupons
From Pharmacy Drug Guide
Norvasc is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina (chest pain). Norvasc is Pfizer's brand of the generic drug amlodopine besylate. It is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, which allows the heart to pump more slowly and thus reduces blood pressure. It is considered a preventative drug for chest pain when used consistently, but will not stop pain that has already begun.[1]
A patient who needs the brand Norvasc, and not the generic amlodopine besylate (which costs less than 10% of the brand name), may be able to save money by using coupons for Norvasc when available. Pfizer also has a patient assistance program which can help qualified individuals save money on Norvasc.
