Restasis Coupons and Free Samples
- The official Restasis website offers patients a savings program called the My Tears, My Rewards (MTMR) program. To sign up for the program, simply visit the official Restasis website and select the rewards program icon in the top right corner of the page. This will take you to an information page where you can learn more and sign up for the program. MTMR cardholders may be able to save up to $15 off their 30-day prescriptions and $45 off their 90 day prescriptions. Additional perks include free Restasis as well as rewards and discounts at AMC Theatres, Barnes & Noble locations, Target stores and CVS pharmacies.[5] Please note that patients may not be eligible for the program if they live in the state of Massachusetts, have Medicare or Medicaid, or are enrolled in another government health program.[6]
- Eligible new Restasis patients can also save by selecting the Get a $20 Rebate icon at the top right of the official Restasis website. Patients can get $20 back after they fill their first prescription.[4]
- Patients may be able to get free Restasis or free Restasis samples from their optometrist or ophthalmologist, as many pharmaceutical companies offer eye care providers free samples of new and existing products for their patients to try out.

About Restasis
Restasis is a prescription medication used to treat Chronic Dry Eye, a medical condition that causes inflammation of the eyes, reducing the ability to produce tears.[7] Restasis is the brand name for cyclosporine ophthalmic solution, and is included in the class of medications known as immunomodulators. Restasis works by decreasing swelling in the eye, which in turn allows for an increase in tear production.[1]
Restasis was originally approved for use by the FDA in 2002. It is an immunosuppressive agent, and should not be used by anyone who already has an eye infection. Patients who wear contact lenses must remove the lenses before using Restasis. Unless otherwise noted, Restasis is administered twice daily, once every 12 hours.[2]
