About Suboxone

Suboxone® is typically administered once daily, and is available in tablet form or film. The medication is dissolved under the tongue. Like many medications, Suboxone® may cause side effects in some individuals. The most common Suboxone® side effects include withdrawal symptoms, nausea, throwing up, difficulty sleeping, and constipation, and general pain.[1]

  • Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals, Inc. offers a $0 co-pay program for Suboxone® film. The program is available throughout 2012, and saves patients up to $50 a month, depending on what their typical co-pay is. The co-pay voucher is available to print from the official Suboxone® website.[2]
  • Suboxone® is available at a discount through the MedSaverCard program. Patients are able to download and print the card for free. Patients are eligible for the card regardless of age, income, or drug coverage status. However, discounts are only available for those who do not have a co-pay unless the patient decides not to go through their insurance company. Patients save between 7 percent and 27 percent on their Suboxone® prescription, depending on dosage and quantity.[3] [4]
  • Discounted Suboxone® is available through the official Xubex® Pharmaceuticals website. Patients who purchase their Suboxone® prescription from Xubex® may be eligible to save either through the company's co-pay program or free trial program. In order to qualify, patients must fill out a form through the official Xubex® website.[5]
