About Tamiflu
Tamiflu is a brand of generic drug oseltamivir, and is a neuraminidase inhibitor.[4] Tamiflu flu medication is available by prescription only. Oseltamivir may be prescribed to treat certain types of influenza infections when the flu symptoms have started within the last two days. It may also be prescribed to prevent certain types of flu in adults and children when the patient has spent time around persons with the flu or has been exposed to a flu outbreak.[4] Tamiflu is not meant to replace the flu shot vaccination.[1]
Tamiflu is sold as a capsule and as a flavored liquid. It is approved for patients over the age of one year. The most widely-experienced side effect of Tamiflu is upset stomach, which may be alleviated if the medicine is taken along with food.[5]

- Tamiflu offers an online coupon good for $5 off of the cost of a Tamiflu prescription. The coupon can be redeemed at retail pharmacies when accompanied by a doctor's prescription. Each patient may only use the coupon twice, and the offer may not be combined with other discounts or coupons. Residents of Massachusetts may not use the Tamiflu coupon.
