Viagra Free Samples
From Pharmacy Drug Guide
Viagra is a prescription medication used to treat erectile dysfunction, or ED. Viagra is taken once daily, usually about 30 minutes to an hour before sexual activity. Viagra is not to be taken more than once during a 24-hour period, or once during a 48-hour period for patients taking other drugs like protease inhibitors.[1] Patients must have a prescription to get Viagra, and online purchases should only be made from a certified pharmacy. Otherwise, patients may receive a counterfeit version of the medication.[2]
Viagra free samples can help new patients try the ED drug at no cost. Viagra samples may be available through a patient's doctor or healthcare provider. When no Viagra samples are available, patients may still be able to get free Viagra through the Pfizer patient assistance program.

Viagra Background
Viagra is the brand name for the drug sildenafil citrate, a phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitor used to increase the blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This helps aid in the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. Common side effects associated with Viagra may include headache and memory problems, upset stomach, back pain, and redness or warmth on the chest, neck or face. If patients experience more serious side effects while taking Viagra, they are advised to contact their doctors immediately. Serious side effects include, but are not limited to:[3]
- Shortness of breath
- Changes in vision, including sudden vision loss
- Swelling in the hands, feet or ankles
- Ringing ears or sudden hearing loss
- An erection accompanied by pain, or an erection lasting four or more hours
- Passing out
Vigara is manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, Inc., and was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1998.[4] Patients taking nitrates (used to treat chest pains), are advised not to take Viagra due to the risk of a sudden drop in blood pressure.[5]
How to Get Free Viagra Samples
Many online pharmacies advertise free viagra samples, but according to Pfizer, many of these pharmacies are not authorized vendors for the medication. As fake or unsafe little blue pills are fairly common, patients are advised to stick to pharmacies and verified prescription drug sources for Viagara.[6]
Viagra does not have any publicly-advertised sample or coupon offers. However, it may be possible to get them from a physician's office upon request.
Pfizer helps patients who cannot afford their Viagra via their Connection to Care patient assistance program. The program offers Viagra and other meds for free, and distributes them directly through physicians' offices. Patients must apply and be accepted into the program in order to get free Viagra. Connection to Care is only offered to those who do not have insurance coverage for Viagra, have incomes that fall below certain levels and live in states or territories of the U.S. Qualified patients will get a 90-day supply of free Viagra at a time, and may get refills for up to a year after acceptance into the program. Doctors must help complete the paperwork, and proof of income is required.[7]
